Created in 2004 MIGAS wraps factory has carried out its first deliveries in May 2005.
Our main customers: Mining companies such as Somaïr, Cominak based in Arlit. Also the OLGA oil mills based in Maradi.

- Total opening Barrel of 223 liters useful
- Plug Barrel 3 “and 2/4” of 216 liters useful for the oil
mills
Production capacity: 50 barrels

Samples of the barrels produced by MIGAS are regularly subjected to
the following tests of homologation:
- Pressure test
- Shatter test
- Test of stacking
- Test of water pressure
- Chemical Test of compatibility
- Test of permeability
The objective is to guarantee a production respecting UNO standards in
matter of packing.
Packing is manufactured according to an international standard or according to the schedule of conditions provided by the customer which can include his logo.
A barrel is composed of a bottom, a lid and a ring (or body of barrel). The thickness of sheet depends of the requirements and the specifications of the customer.
PréPreparation of the bottom and Lids:
The funds and the lids are pressed by means of a press of 180Tonnes starting
from precut sheets. For the lids of the oil barrels, two holes are bored
before carrying out the setting of two rings from respectively 2 "
and 3/4 "
Preparation of the ring:
The ring is obtained starting from a sheet precut with the lengths in
function desired useful volume. The sheet is controlled, brushed before
being rolled by means of a bending machine The sheet thus rolled is assembled
on a welding machine for a welding by fusion with the electric arc of
the two edges of sheet. The ring thus obtained undergone two transformations:
- tombage of the edge
- Expansion of the two snap rings (tread) to reinforce the rigidity of
and was facilitated the operations of handling.
Assembly of the barrel:
The bottom, the lid and the ring are assembled by triple setting with
injection of a liquid joint by means of sertisseuse.
Quality control:
A visual monitoring is carried out with each stage of manufacture and
at the end of this one. A dimensional and sealing check is carried out
on each barrel manufactured. The production is carried out according to
a quality plan which is regularly updated.
Painting:
The controlled barrels are put in painting according to the specifications
of the customer.
In addition to the manufacture of barrels MIGAS has the necessary
expertise for the realization of the rough works of boiler making:
- Assembly or Disassembling of production facility
- Manufacture of tank of large capacity
